Soon the Dhalli, Solan farm markets to go online

One good news for the state farmers in Himachal Pradesh is that the agriculture markets at Dhalli near Shimla and Solan agriculture market would be connected to the prime markets in the country, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi launching the NAM (National Agriculture Market) platform tomorrow.

This joint platform of NAM will be integrating 585 odd agricultural markets, and this facility will help farmers to see their produce anywhere access the country at the best price.

Currently, farmers are restricted to sell their produce in sabzi mandis that charge various taxes but with this new initiative, this will give the choice to the farmer to see their produce both in physical mandis or online platform.

It’s a great initiative by the current government not only it will help the farmers to get easy access to sell online but also it will likely to boost their incomes and improve availability, moderating price rise too
